There are six different wedding venue locations you can choose between at Crowne Plaza, I have listed them below:
The Chapel
The Chapel is a beautifully designed space with its pews and uplighters. The pews are comfortable and give guests the feeling of being seated in a church. The Chapel pews have a unique design which allows for comfortable seating for 50 guests and standing room for an additional 50 guests. In addition, the wooden benches are comfortable and sturdy enough to be used in various ways inside the chapel.
Chapel Lawn
Up to 32 guests’ chairs are covered in white chair covers with white sashes and set either side of the red carpet. The Chapel is held for your wet weather backup.
Phoenix Room
Large wedding reception rooms are not a new thing for new hotels. In fact, even within the last few years, the trend of having large hotel ballrooms has affected the industry. A large ballroom provides a space not only for smaller wedding ceremonies, but for receptions as well. In like manner, The Phoenix Room can accommodate up to 80 guests for a banquet or dinner reception with the appropriate number of tables and chairs.
Norfolk Room and Grand Ballroom
The Grand Ballroom can host up to 320 guests for a wedding, or Norfolk Room can host up to 250 guests.
Waratah Room
Located on the first level of our Gold Tower, our Waratah Room can seat up to 50 guests. Wow! This really sets the scene for a seriously luxurious wedding in the Gold Coast.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I have a ceremony only at the hotel?
Yes, the chapel and chapel lawn are available for a 2 hour time period for your ceremony only. This includes the use of the hotel grounds for photos.
I would like an outdoor ceremony however what happens if it rains?
Should you choose an outdoor ceremony on the lawn the chapel will be your wet weather back up.
Can I have a rehearsal?
Complimentary use of the chapel for your rehearsal is available. Times are subject to availability.
Can I have my wedding reception in Four Winds 360° Revolving Restaurant?
Four Winds is available for wedding receptions. A minimum of 120 guests is required for exclusive use. There are varied options and packages available. To discuss further, please contact the Wedding Coordinator.
Is there catering for small wedding receptions?
Fully inclusive buffet and plated wedding packages are available from only 35 adult guests and cocktail package from 30 adult guests. For small intimate weddings and elopements, they can also customise a package to suit your requirements.
Do you offer custom packages?
The packages do offer some flexibility however in the case that the package is not suitable they can also customise a package to meet your requirements and budget.
Can I design my own menu?
You may choose to offer suggestions or request to theme your menu such as degustation, Indian or French for example. The Wedding Coordinator and team of international chefs can assist you to design the perfect menu. Additional charges may apply.
Can I have a menu tasting?
Menu tastings are available for plated options only. Charged at $160 per couple the menu tasting includes 2 entrées, 2 main courses and 2 desserts and in addition a glass each of the white wine, red wine and sparkling wine included in your package.
Do you offer a discount on accommodation for my guests?
Special rates are made available to all wedding guests for all room types.
Is car parking available for my guests?
Yes, the car park entrance is located at the end of the hotel via the Gold Coast Highway and casual car parking rates apply. Valet parking is also available at the cost of $25.00 per day and can be arranged through concierge. For Self Parking, proceed directly to the boom gate for car park entry. Please note the maximum height is 2.0 metres.
How much of a deposit do I need to pay?
At the time of contracting your booking they will require a $1,000.00 non-refundable deposit. Further scheduled payments are outlined in the contract. You may also make regular payments in the lead up to the wedding.
When do I need to advise final numbers?
Final numbers and payment is required 3 days prior to the wedding date.
