Hillstone St Lucia Weddings
Hillstone has four reception spaces, two ceremony spaces and two large welcoming areas. Each venue has flexible options that can be specifically designed for your wedding, from intimate wedding receptions to large, glamorous outdoor wedding ceremonies. The large charming spaces and wide range of options is what makes Hillstone one of the top choice for couples.
Large Reception Space – The Grand View Room
The Grand View Room was created to engage with the beautiful, uninterrupted view of its surroundings. This means it’s a very open space and has some unique characteristics, like how it doesn’t feature columns and has a 5.5m-high ceiling with detailed architraves and skirting.
But despite its grand features, the room has the old homestead charm and warmth about it (when people visit they can feel its history firsthand). It was designed from the beginning to make people feel at home and allow for a lot of flexibility in what it hosts.
The Victorian Long Bar
The Victorian Long Bar is used to service The Grand View Room – giving guests both indoor and outdoor facilities to enjoy. The Mango Tree Terrace is also included with The Grand View Room, and is decorated with festoon lights all year round – so there’s no added expenses with outside decorations.
The Grand View Room is modern, yet has an old homestead style charm and warmth about it (you can feel the history of it when you walk in). It has beautiful uninterrupted views of its surroundings, its a very large space and doesn’t have columns. The ceiling is 5.5m high with detailed architraves and skirtings.
One of the best things about the packages at Hillstone St Lucia, is that most packages are inclusive, when you’re using the Grand View Room you have access to the Victorian Long Bar, giving guests indoor and outdoor facilities to experience.
The incredible Mango Tree Terrace is also included with the Grand View Room and is decorated with festoon lights. So you don’t need to worry about outdoor lighting hire.
The Grand Room – Capabilities
For a seated event with a dance floor and bridal table, you can fit up to 350 guests. For a cocktail-style wedding, up to 800 guests can comfortably move around, even when dancing.

The Grand Room – Features
There is a private Board Room that can also be accessed as a private space for the bridal party and vendors to store their equipment and enjoy their refreshments.

There aren’t many reception spaces in Brisbane with the same incredible view that the Rosewood Room offers – it is a pretty unique space. The lighting in this room is great throughout the whole day making it pretty hard to take a bad photo. If you have a medium sized wedding with less than 110 wedding guest I would recommend you try the rosewood room!

For a seated reception with dance floor (located in The Library Bar) and bridal table, you can have up to 90 guests. A cocktail style reception with a dance floor (located in The Library Bar) can have up to 110 guests.

The Library Bar
The library bar is included when you choose the Rosewood Room. It is a perfect room to hold the ‘after party’ portion of your reception with events such as the first dance, and drinks. With a private bar and outdoor terrace overlooking the golf course, this is a delightful room filled with vintage charm.

For a seated reception with dance floor and bridal table, 20-40 guests can fit comfortably. A cocktail style reception with a dance floor can house 50-120 guests.
