The venue accommodates a maximum capacity of 120 guests for full weddings, though specific packages may have different limits. Micro wedding packages accommodate up to 40 guests, while elopement ceremonies can host 2-30 guests depending on the package selected.

Ceremony Space

Ceremonies are held beneath the 100-year-old fig tree, framed by an arbour with a backdrop of 180-degree views of the Nightcap Ranges overlooking the beautiful Corndale Valley. For wet weather backup, depending on guest numbers, ceremonies can be relocated to either the undercover verandah or inside the reception pavilion.

Reception Space

The main reception room features:

• Soaring cathedral ceiling with exposed timber trusses

• Large verandah measuring 3.5m x 16m, suspended high above the valley

Earth House offers flexibility in catering options. The venue includes a large purpose-built, undercover catering area attached to the rear of the main event space with a cool room. However, all other wedding catering equipment must be hired in separately.

Through the Savvy Wed package option, catering is provided by the award-winning Fig Tree Restaurant, featuring:

• Gourmet canapés to begin

• Main course served on generous platters to share

• Wedding cake served roaming to guests

Couples have the flexibility to arrange their own catering providers or work with recommended suppliers.

On-Site Accommodation

Earth House offers boutique accommodation on-site, though it is not included in standard wedding packages. The accommodation comprises:

• Two beautifully appointed queen-sized rooms

• Ideal for small bridal parties of up to four guests

Practical Considerations for Couples

Curfew and Timing

Under council regulations, all guests must depart by 10:30pm. This rule applies to all wedding venues in the region. Music must be off by 10:00pm, with guest departure by 10:30pm for standard packages. For elopement packages through Elope, music must be off by 9:00pm with guest departure by 9:30pm.

Music and Entertainment

• PA equipment for speeches and dancing must be hired separately (no BYO PA equipment)

• Live music is not permitted after 8:00pm; DJs are permitted inside from 8:00pm onwards

• Musicians must contact the venue for prior approval

• Base packages include background music during ceremony and cocktail hour, with options to add live bands or DJs for receptions at additional cost

Transportation

Guest transportation must be arranged, with mini buses typically required to transport guests to and from the venue. Some packages include pickup from convenient locations in town.

Photography

Standard packages include 4 hours of professional photography, with 400 individually edited images provided on USB in a wooden box, plus a personalized online gallery.

Pricing

Elopement and micro wedding packages start from $700 + GST for ceremony-only events (2-12 guests) and range up to $4,500 + GST for micro weddings with 31-40 guests. Full wedding packages require customized quotes based on guest count and specific requirements.
